In 2017, Jocelyn Banyard was one of the instructors for a hugely successful women’s workshop held in the Wayi Wayi studios in Livingstone. This workshop was to educate the fourteen women artists who participated in how to reduce their financial risks and increase their access to basic services like banks, health, and education. It was funded by Financial Sector Deepening Zambia (FSDZ).

Our financial inclusion workshop with FSDZ in 2017 was broadcast on Zambia’s national TV station.

The workshop ended with an exhibition which was well covered by the press, giving the women much needed exposure and publicity. Since then, the women have organized a second exhibition.
