We empower rural Zambians to face the future with confidence
Malambo Grassroots supports community-based projects in rural communities of Southern Zambia. All the projects are different but all have the same essential components:
- dedicated local leadership
- support from the community with many local volunteers
- an ability to stretch a small budget to achieve big results
Our aim is to be a catalyst for change rather than a charity. At this time, we still see the need to support Zambians through donations. But by bringing them forward, we are moving towards our long-term goal, which is to decrease their dependence on us and to finally work ourselves out of a job.
